Early Childhood Music & Movement Teacher

Description:
The New School of Music in Cambridge seeks an experienced early childhood music and movement teacher to teach weekly classes for children starting in September 2016, with the possibility to start sooner. This part-time position is an opportunity for an individual to aid in developing and growing a dynamic music and movement curriculum for children ages 1-5 years old at NSM. 

Class schedule is flexible, please include in your application materials the days/times you would be available to teach classes.  Starting in September, classes will run for 3 10-week terms. 

Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have a strong background in early childhood music and movement classes, demonstrated commitment to a teaching career, experience working with young children, classroom management skills, and a passion for sharing music. Previous experience developing curriculum is desired.  Candidates who have Dalcroze certification, Waldorf training, and/or licensed in Musikgarten are strongly encouraged to apply.
