Box Office Associate/House Manager


We are seeking a part-time Box Office Associate/House Manager who works well under pressure and is a creative problem solver. This individual will work in both positions depending on scheduling needs. This position is a vital part of our guest services team.

Box Office Associate

Job Description:

Duties include but are not limited to: management of evening and weekend operations of the box office; assisting the Box Office Manager with a variety of functions including processing and accounting daily ticket revenue via phone, walk-up and web sales; resolving patron complaints or requests and assisting in the maintenance of patron records; assisting with the training, and coaching the Box Office employees; participating in Opening Nights, Special Events and Fundraisers, and relevant meetings; promoting excellence in guest services, and developing and maintaining a friendly and positive Box Office environment for both the customers and the employees; generating reports for various departments; troubleshooting printer and computer problems during daily operations. Evenings and weekends required. Daytime shifts (12-5) also needed

House Manager

Job Description:

Responsible for running the Front of House operations during performances. Works with the stage manager to ensure show runs on time. Actively manages a positive experience for guests. Monitors the performance space during the show in order to asses any potential issues and ensure a comfortable environment for all guests. Instruct and supervise volunteer ushers. Supervise concessions staff. Other responsibilities include participating in Opening Nights, Special Events and Fundraisers, and relevant meetings; promoting excellence in patron service, and developing and maintaining a friendly and positive Front of House environment for both the customers and the employees. Evenings and Weekends required.



The right person works gracefully under pressure, is a creative problem solver, takes initiative and pays great attention to detail and accuracy. Front of House experience and Box office experience is preferred, but we will train the right person who has similar management/customer service background. Good communications, computer and people management skills are essential. Performing arts experience is an asset, but not a requirement. Approximately 10-20 hours/week during the production season. Must work weekends
