Immediate Need: Guitar Instructor

The North End Music & Performing Arts Center is looking for a Guitar instructor to teach at our partner school, the Eliot School! He/she will teach group guitar instruction and should like working with children ages 10-13. The position will also create and implement the curriculum for the group class, communicate with families of students, work with students in a group setting, and work with the NEMPAC and Eliot School administration. There are also future opportunities for private instruction through NEMPAC. Must be available once/week at 8:30-9:30 a.m on Fridays (day flexible, but Friday preferred)
- Must be available 8:30-9:30 a.m on Fridays (day flexible, but Friday preferred)
- Potential to add private students, pending space availability and demand
- Teaching Artist must have at least 2 years of experience teaching children and beginners

- Bachelors or Masters degree in music performance or education
- Teaching Artist must be able to work with students of all ages, especially ages 10-13. 
- Teaching Artist should be comfortable teaching group classes
