Immediate Need: Guitar Instructor

The North End Music & Performing Arts Center is looking for a Guitar instructor to join our faculty! The position will have the opportunity to teach in Charlestown at one of our elementary school partners. He/she will teach both private and group guitar instruction and should like working with children ages 5+. The position will also create and implement the curriculum for the group class, communicate with families of students, work with students in a group setting, and work with the NEMPAC administration. This instructor will also take over a pre-existing roster. Must be available Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 3-6pm.
- Must be available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays for Charlestown
- Potential to add students, pending space availability and demand
- Teaching Artist must have at least 2 years of experience teaching children and beginners

- Bachelors or Masters degree in music performance or education
- Teaching Artist must be able to work with students of all ages
- Teaching Artist should be comfortable teaching group classes
