Public Art Curator


Drawing on experience in municipal arts administration, the Public Art Curator will give technical assistance to the Arlington Commission for Arts and Culture on organizational development issues, fundraising, community arts programming and public art policy. Grant writing, and creative fundraising a plus. Knowledge of contemporary trends in public art essential. Ability to work with many town groups and employees a must.

Degree in art administration, art history, or other relevant area. Proven expertise and experience in commissioning art for public spaces, with a special focus on temporary art and community engagement. Creative, resourceful, exceptionat verbal and writing skills.
