Volunteer Museum Greeter for Tiffany Windows Tours

The Tiffany Windows Education Center at Arlington Street Church is looking for volunteers to assist us this summer season as we open our doors to tourists and visitors. Arlington Street Church houses one of the most unique and incredible collections of Tiffany stained glass windows and will be open May-October for tours and events. We are recruiting friendly individuals to help us meet our growing visitor base and help support the expansion of our tour programs. Volunteer Greeters will sit and oversee the welcome table, greet visitors as they enter the museum, and process ticket and gift shop sales.

We have several shifts we currently need filled:

Wednesdays: 12:30pm-3pm

Fridays: 10am-12:30pm and 12:30pm-3pm

Saturdays: 12:30pm-3pm

Sundays: 1-4pm (every other Sunday)

With a direct view of the Boston Public Garden, the option to read or work on your own projects in your downtime, and flexible scheduling, this is a great volunteer opportunity for those looking to gain experience in the fields of art and public history, or those looking to spend their time among beautiful art and architecture.

Hours of operation are Sundays 1-4pm. Mondays-Saturdays 10am-3pm, closed Tuesdays.

*Potential for internships and larger opportunities for college/graduate students if interested*

No experience necessary, all training will be provided, but comfort using /learning smartphone and touchscreen technology a must. Friendly faces and a positive attitude desired.
