Longy seeks an entrepreneurial
Facilities Manager to oversee all aspects of the maintenance, repair, improvement
and efficient operation of Longy’s buildings, grounds, and equipment. This is
an extraordinary opportunity for a self-starter who enjoys ensuring the beauty,
cleanliness, and safety of an educational campus, in order to allow the members
of the Longy community to learn, perform, and listen in world-class buildings. The
Facilities Manager is a key member of the operations team developing strategies
and planning for major renovation or construction projects. This person works
closely with all Longy staff, faculty, and students and represents the school
to outside constituencies including Cambridge neighbors, Cambridge Historical
Commission, and renters, and campus visitors.
