Fall Marketing & Box Office Intern

The Marketing & Box Office Intern is a 10 hours/week internship, available only for college credit. The Marketing & Box Office Intern reports to the Communications Director, and is part of the Marketing and Patron Services team at New Repertory Theatre.

The Marketing & Box Office Intern will gain experience in the acquisition and retention of single ticket buyers and subscribers; increasing institutional and programmatic marketing efforts; press/PR; paid advertising; box office management; and community engagement and partnerships.

This internship can be flexible, and focus on the areas of most interest to the candidate for the best educational experience. The Marketing & Box Office Intern may be asked to support the Marketing and Patron Services team in the following areas:

· Box Office Support

· Social Media Management

· Collateral Distribution

· Community Relations

· Mailing List Maintenance

· Research/Data Compilation



· A strong interest in theatre/arts administration

· An excellent customer service demeanor

· Experience managing social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram

· An interest in research/data collection

· Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

· Familiarity with MailChimp or Constant Contact is preferred
