Performing Arts Marketing Intern

Description:

The Umbrella Stage Company Greater Boston’s newest professional theater located in Concord, MA. We have just completed new construction of a 344 seat proscenium theater and a 100 seat black box theater and are looking for a knowledgeable, energetic and passionate person to join our team and support marketing and visibility efforts. This is an unpaid internship with opportunity for college credit and free admission to performances.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Attend at least one rehearsal per week to take behind the scenes photos, videos, and other content

· Draft and create content for social media channels

· Assist with posting to digital calendars, event listings, and free advertising sites

· Assist with local visibility efforts (flyers, signage, etc.)


TIME COMMITMENT:

· Approximately 5 hours per week, flexible schedule to be coordinated with supervisors

Qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Knowledge and facility with social media platforms

· Experience creating social media content

· Reliable transportation

· Positive attitude, comfortable with wide ranges of people and personalities

· Able to work flexible hours
