The Office of College Relations is pleased to announce that they are accepting applications for the Prospect Management & Research Senior Analyst in Advancement Operations. Under the supervision of the Director of Prospect Management & Research, the Prospect Management & Research Senior Analyst provides a wide range of professional services for Advancement Operations and the Office of College Relations. The Senior Analyst supports the College's fund-raising program by identifying and providing research about potential donors who are capable of providing major gift level support ($250K+) to Williams.

The Office of College Relations works to create lifelong, mutually supportive relationships that enrich the College. The work of this group includes the areas of development, alumni relations, donor relations, and career services. Advancement Operations provides and manages information technology, strategic direction, and computer support services for the Office of College Relations in support of this mission.

* Research and analyze complex biographical, corporate and financial source materials in order to set gift capacity ratings for prospective donors;

* Organize/conduct regular strategy review meetings with Senior Development Officers

* Create and monitor news alerts on rated prospects using various resources;

* Ensure proposals are correctly entered; convert raw data to various formats for screening and strategy reviews; work with PM&R Director and Advancement Operations to strategize on the utilization of data fields related to prospect data; assist in report building and testing;

* Develop and maintain predictive models to assess prospect propensity to make a capital gift;

* Serve as a document steward to record departmental policies, particularly in regard to data and prospect tracking;

* Compose biographical reports for the Vice President of College Relations



* Bachelors' degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience in prospect management, or the equivalent combination of education and experience;

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with strong organizational skills;

* An understanding of the mission of a liberal arts college committed to diversity;

* Must perform with a high degree of accuracy, professionalism and ensure confidentiality is maintained at all times due to the sensitive nature of materials;

* An ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously; to work under deadlines; to work independently, and as part of a team;

* Analytical aptitude and an ability to digest and synthesize raw data;

* Ability to use statistical data software to create models;

* Excellent command of Excel and other office productivity software;

* Understanding how to use data visualization tools to disseminate information
