Choreographer for "Frozen, Jr."
Seeking an experienced, vibrant, and organized Choreographer
for “Frozen, Jr.”
RESPONSIBILITIES: Choreographing up to 24 students in
grades 4-8 (all levels of abilities and experience). Communication and collaboration with the
Director on a regular basis.
well-prepared for each rehearsal and performance
-Ability to maintain
excellent choreography notes, track changes made, etc.
videos, if possible, for the actors
-Provide performance coaching
to leads and ensemble members in collaboration with the director
rehearsal schedule and communicate with the director regarding desired changes
or questions in a timely manner
choreographer who can make all levels shine on stage!
Up to 3 Check-In Meetings with Director
(ideally Fridays 3:15-3:45 or other mutually agreed upon time in Sept, Oct, Nov
- could also be over the phone!)
Meet & Greet Friday, September 20
Role Placement/Rehearsals Fridays
3:45-6:00pm starting 9/27 (there are 7 dates)
Tech rehearsal Thursday, November 21
Final dress rehearsal Friday, November
22 from 5:15-7: 30 pm
Performance Saturday, November 23 at
-Preferred Degree in Dance
-Enjoys and has extensive experience leading large groupsof elementary students and middle schoolers in a fast-paced environment
-Experience choreographing young people in fully-staged musicals (knowledge of the MTI Jr. Repertoire a plus!)
-Reliable transportation to Sudbury
-Makes dance accessible to performers of all levels and abilities through thoughtful teaching strategies and age- and level-appropriate choreography.

The Performing Arts Connection is a full service dance and performing arts school for children, teenagers, and adults.
