Editorial Internship at Literary Agency
Aevitas offers student interns the opportunity to
explore a career in publishing, gaining valuable experience, building new
skills, and forging meaningful connections by assisting at all stages of the
agenting process—from evaluating queries and reading proposals to editing
manuscripts and crafting pitches. Interns will also learn about contracts,
royalties, client relations, and other details of the agency business, working
closely with a highly experienced group of agents whose tastes and lists vary

Hours and Compensation:
Unfortunately, we are currently unable to
offer compensation for this internship. However, we are happy to coordinate
with interns so they can earn course credits. Hours are flexible, but a time
commitment of at least two days a week in our Boston office is required.
· Previous editorial and/or writing experience, including prior publishing internships, experience in creative writing workshops, work on literary magazines, etc.
· Very strong reading and writing skills
· Time management ability
