Proposal: Team Linear Zoetrope is looking for a team of 3 artists, to work together to create digital artwork for a linear zoetrope that emphasizes the vulnerability of our underground transportation systems. And how climate change will dramatically impact the lives of the people that use them.
Logistics of Linear Zoetrope: The Underground platform where our team will be installing the zoetrope is roughly 300 feet long. This means that we require 225 frames of artwork moving at 15 fps, totaling out as a 15-second animation. Each artist will work on 75 frames, translating to 5 seconds of animation time per artist.
Must be 18 years old or older
Must be a resident of Cambridge or Boston, Massachusetts
We kindly ask each artist to include a portfolio of their previous works upon applying. As well as a sketch/outline of ideas that they plan to illustrate if they were to contribute to the linear zoetrope. These can be sent to the email firstname.lastname@example.org
