The Events Coordinator for the French Cultural Center performs
administrative and logistical duties for the corporate team including
fundraising events and cultural activities. They must be able to anticipate project needs,
discern work priorities, meet deadlines with little supervision, and be willing
to work occasional evenings and weekends. They should have a love for event
management, provide outstanding customer service, be an enthusiastic

Develops project plan and assign deliverables
for all assigned events from the Development and the Cultural departments.
Works in conjunction with Marketing to ensure
all platforms are updated with event details for pre and post events (Facebook,
Instagram, Twitter, etc).
Works in conjunction with Marketing to produce
all promotional material needed for events.
Recruits and coordinates event volunteers as
Prepares Powerpoint presentations, nametags,
materials, notebooks, packages, gift bags, registration lists, seating cards,
Assists with preparing budgets and provide
periodic progress reports for each event project.
Keeps track of event finances including check
requests, invoicing, and reporting.
Is responsible for tracking ticket sales,
receipting, and post event report follow-up letters, emails, etc.
Is responsible for the accurate delivery of
thank-you letters for all donations.
Ensures setup and breakdown of commonly used
rooms, food preparation, grocery shopping as assigned.
Represents the FCC in a positive manner at all
times, including working with staff, volunteers, and vendors.
Performs other duties as requested by the Director
of Development or the Executive Director.
