NEMPAC is currently seeking a dance instructor for our Monday afternoon Hip Hop/Jazz class, grades 3-5 at the Harvard-Kent Elementary school in Charlestown, MA. Class Time: Monday afternoon 4:30pm- 5:30pm. Max amount of dancers: 22. Additional hours may be added upon instructor request and availability.
As the dance Instructor, you will be responsible for training students in hip hop and jazz dance techniques.
Managing class behavior, and time management in a professional manner.
Communicating with parents weekly before and after class.
One 2-3 minute Dance performance will be required, at the end of the ten-week session in June.
Previous Dance Training
Experience Performing jazz, hip hop and other dance styles
Experience working with children of all ages
Must be reliable, prompt and on time to work
Must have strong communication skills
Must be outgoing and enthusiastic
Must have reliable transportation to the site location
